The Prelude Of NBA 2K18 Already Has A Release Date

2K Sports has released the first NBA 2K18 video, revealing that fans can expect graphic loyalty that promises a lot.

The latest installment in the NBA video game series improves detail on every level, getting to the details on the armbands and the marks on the players’ elbows.

There is even a detailed reproduction of tattoos, stretch marks and scars. Players now move with a cadence closer than they do in real life.

Producer Visual Concepts apparently rebuilt all players from scratch, also betting on specific details that may sound a little strange, such as “better illumination in the teeth” and more lively eyes on all players. The new modeling system ensures that players’ real shapes are reliable.

The video you can see at the end of this news announces that The Prelude demonstration will be released on September 8 and that all progress will be compatible with MyCareer mode in NBA 2K18.

NBA 2K18 will be released on September 19 on PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Anyone who pre-orders the game, however, can start playing September 15th.

As a footnote it is important to mention that the Nintendo Switch version will be initially published only in digital format, following the physical format closer to the end of 2017.
